New dart league begins tonight! Registration starts at 6 pm. Normal league play begins at 7 pm.

If you have never been in the league before now is the time to sign up. If you have been in the league before you know how much fun it is. We hope to see you all tonight!

Join us for our 3rd Annual Victory Casino Cruise on Sunday, August 28th

Only $22 per Person Includes: Transportation from Post 129, Boarding, Two Drinks, $20 in Match Play and Lunch at the Atlantic Cafe from the A La Carte menu.

This is an event you do not want to miss!!! You must sign up by August 22nd. Bus leaves at 945 am.

The 2017 Membership Cards are Available!!!

Now is the time to renew! The Post adjutant will be available Thursday through Saturday from 5 pm to 7 pm to renew all Legion members.

Auxiliary members can renew by contacting Wanda Brandt, SAL members should contact Terry Stickles.

Remember occasionally around the Post you will be asked to show your card to a staff member or officer when this happens please be prepared to show it proudly.

The Auxiliary would like to thank all who worked, donated, and played for the West Virginia flood victims. $7,000 was donated to the Red Cross.

Per our Saturday's meeting, we will be meeting at 6:30 on Wednesday, August 17th at the Post to try to finalize our committees for the October Poker Run.

There will be a seminar on Thursday, September 15th at 630 pm held at Post 129 on ways to quit smoking. There is no cost to attend this event. Please sign up in the canteen if you are planning to attend.

The shirts have arrived! If you ordered a shirt or would like to purchase as shirt please see Joe Micheals. Shirts are $30 each.

We are still looking for volunteers to help with our upcoming Croaker Tournament. To find out how you can help plan on attending one of the upcoming planning meetings. The next meeting will be held on August 24th at 630 pm.

Attention all Legion Members: It has been determined that the Post will vote in the October Legion meeting on whether or not to continue to be a smoking facility. There will be two meetings. There will be a town hall style meeting on Sunday, September 4th where members will be able to voice their concerns. The vote will take place on Thursday, October 6th at the regular Legion meeting at 730 pm. All Legionnaires are encouraged to attend and place there vote.

Football season is almost here! There are a few spots left in this years fantasy football league. Our draft will take place at Post 129 on Saturday, August 27th at 1 pm. If you would like to participate please let Brandi know.

The Auxiliary is collecting evening gowns, cocktail dresses, shoes, and accessories to donate to Cinderella's closet. They will be donated to active duty wives for their upcoming command parties. Donations can be dropped off in the Auxiliary room.

Please join us in our American Legion Post 129 Saturday golf. It is a nine hole captains choice/best ball theme. We now have over 40 players signed up to play on Saturday Mornings. We would love to have you join us.

The Legion will be serving up a dinner with baked chicken, pulled pork sliders, baked beans, and potato salad for only an $8 donation.
