We want to provide you with an update of how we at Post 129 are addressing the challenges of the corona virus. We know that all of you have been impacted in one way or another, and we know that you realize this is also affecting our Post family.
We regret to inform you that once again we have recently been made aware that we have had members have tested positive for COVID-19 and have been at the Post within the last two weeks. We cannot release the names of the members due to privacy issues. Our thoughts are with all who have been impacted by the corona virus and wish all a quick recovery.
While we take pride in our everyday practices to maintain a clean and sanitary environment here at our Post, we have also implemented additional measures that reflect the recommended standards of the CDC. We have set up a regular sanitation service to be done by a professional company and will be having all employees get tested regularly to ensure their safety and yours.
We also must stress that we need all of you to practice personal responsibility in order to keep the Post safe. If you are feel unwell, exhibit any symptoms of COVID, or have been in contact with anyone that is positive for COVID please stay home and get tested. There are many locations to get tested and most insurance will cover the cost. If you need help in finding a location please call the Post and we would be happy to help.
Please remember we have never had to handle a situation like this in the past and we are trying our very best to keep all staff and members safe while still opening the Post for your enjoyment. We recognize that these are unsettling times for all of us but as a Post family we will get through this together.
