American Legion Post 129

New Year’s Eve will be the same as it has been for a few years. Double Shot will be here to entertain us from 830 pm to 1230 am.

There will NOT be a seat or cover charge this year. It is a no fuss party.

There will be party favors and a champagne toast at midnight but other than that it is just come, party, drink, and dance!

No dinner will be available that evening. We are requesting that if possible everyone brings in some snacks to share.

December 29th to January 4th

Frank and Terry Hotmer are being deployed. You are invited to their farewell party on Wednesday, January 6th at 6 pm. Help us bid them adieu with style and make this party a memorable one.

Kitchen will be closed, covered dishes requested.

We will be holding our annual Chili cook off on January 16^th. So start cooking and experimenting with those wonderful Chili’s. If you would like to particapte please let Brandi know.

Mark your calendars and plan on joining up for a pool tournament on Saturday, January 23rd. More details to follow

Do you have a musical instrument at home that hasn't been touched in years? How about donating it to Mary Ellen so she can give it to our Duval County Schools so that our young folks can learn to play it. Music calms the soul. Let's help the cause. We are planning a Post crawl on Sunday,January 31st. Our current plan is to visit Post 233, Post 137, Post 88, and Post 283. I know it's going be a great time! Mark your calendars!

Smoked pork loin, mashed potatoes with gravy, collard greens, black eyed peas, and cornbread.

Sunday, January 3rd - Breakfast 9 am to 11 am
Yes there will be breakfast this Sunday! Please note that breakfast will only run until 11 am

Please join us in our American Legion Post 129 Saturday golf. It is a nine hole captains choice/best ball theme. We now have over 40 players signed up to play on Saturday Mornings. We would love to have you join us.
