After break we are hoping to hold a winter gear swap. Please hold onto your new and used boots, jackets, rain suits, and gloves, so that your kids have outgrown for another couple weeks!
We are a community that prioritizes being outside in all weather and we want all of our kids to be comfortable outside each day!
WINTER CULTURAL FAIR
FAMILY HERITAGE SURVEY--WE NEED YOUR INPUT
Families,
Please take the time to fill out this shortfamily heritage survey in order for us to create a winter cultural fair where all our students can gain knowledge and experience joy.
Family cultural gifts are the ways you celebrate your family's cultural heritage. These can also be traditions, rituals, activities, talents or knowledge.
We call these gifts because your family will “gift” The Cottonwood School with this important cultural knowledge and experience.
Come and see Cottonwood’s fall play! “Snow White: The Melodrama”!
Friday December 9 – 7:00pm
Saturday December 10 – 4:00pm and 6:30pm
Tickets will be $5 (adult & child) Information on purchasing will be announced after Fall Break.
This comedic melodrama features lots of audience participation, reimagined characters, frequent breaking of the fourth wall, and tons of verbal and physical humor. Meet Snow White, a very intelligent, kind, trusting person who is quite at home with a tool belt. Unfortunately, she lives with her loud, mean, and demanding stepmother (the Queen) who is always one step away from losing it. Enter Prince Ronald, her childhood friend, who when feeling nervous, speaks in hilarious spoonerisms (transposing the first letters of two words). Later, help comes in the form of nine quirky “dwarfs” who, due strange circumstances, are no longer dwarfs! Will Snow White find peace and happiness outside of the castle? Will the Prince’s secret crush be revealed? Starring Cottonwood Students!
We had ZERO reported COVID-19 cases
at Cottonwood, weeks ending November 11 & 18th.
