PICK UP AND DROP OFF PROCEDURES / SAFETY REMINDERS
NEW PICK-UP PROCEDURES: Parents who are picking up students at the end of the school day are now required to wait outside the gate until a faculty member opens it at 3:25. As always, cars need to be parked in marked spots when on school property. Parking along side of the "kiss and drop" driveway is not safe for kids and causes traffic issues.
DROP OFF REMINDERS: When using the kiss and drop area to drop your child at school in the morning, please have your child exit the right side of your car. We understand that unexpected things happen, but to the best of everyone's ability, please remain in your car and exit the driveway as soon as your child is a safe distance from your car. If you know your child needs assistance, please park your car in a marked spot, or along Mill Hill Road, and escort your child to the school entrance. Occasionally the line of cars at kiss and drop can extend out onto Mill Hill Terrance, blocking traffic for our neighbors and causing children to be late.
Thank you for your cooperation!

MHS MENTOR PROGRAM 2016-2017
The PTA would like to make sure that all MHS families are aware that we have a mentor program, which started last year, thanks to Molli Hourihan. It's a simple, yet important, opportunity for families new to the Mill Hill community, to have a "go to" person for any general questions they may have. All new families have been assigned a mentor. If you have any questions, please contact email@example.com.
There are still a few open positions for the 2016-2017 school year. Below are some brief descriptions of the roles and the expected time commitment. Interested? Contact firstname.lastname@example.org
4. Advertising in the Mill Hill Directory: Help raise money for Mill Hill School by soliciting advertisements from Mill Hill family businesses and/or local businesses for our school directory.
3. Wellness/Tools for Schools: Help ensure a healthy physical environment within our building.
2. Reflections Art Contest: Distribute info about the art contest to the Mill Hill community, collect entries and submit to Reflections. Late November through beginning of January.
1. President Elect: Act as an aide to the Presidents, perform the duties of the Presidents in the absence or inability of those officers to serve. Assist the Presidents in coordinating the work of the officers and Mill Hill PTA committees. (The Elect also assumes the responsibilities of the President the following year.)
