MENTORING MATCHING MONTH
March was a very busy month for America’s Big Sisters Foundation.  We were busy searching for mentors for our Goal Girls Program.  Thank you to everyone that submitted applications.  Due to the overwhelming response all of our girls have been matched.  We are excited about our mentor/mentee matches which give is the opportunity to provide additional support to our Goal Girls.
 


PAINTING & PREPARATION

Our March Goal Girls Virtual session Painting and Preparation was fun, exciting, and informative.  Our girls had an opportunity to receive instruction on canvas painting.  Our educational piece focused on career preparation taught by one of our mentors, Kimberly Glover.  Thank you to Nakita of Calming Canvas for the art instruction.  
BAKING WITH A TWIST

April proved to be another amazing Goal Girls Virtual session as our girls received instruction on how to make a pound cake and knowledge on financial literacy. Thank you to our instructors, mentors Shanell Tutstone of Heavenly Cakes and our very own Education/Program Coordinator for sharing your expertise for the day.
