Aletta in the news

On 2 January 2020 an interview with Jochen Mierau aired on the NOS news. Aletta research shows neighborhoods with proportionally fewer smokers and more compliance with exercise guidelines have lower health care costs. Alcohol consumption, on the other hand, shows different results.

'Kop op! Over kosten, baten en kwaliteit van leven in de jeugdzorg'

This week the symposium Kop op! took place. Together with participants from policy, science and practice around the topic youth care, we explored how we can map out what effective youth care is. Anne Stalinski made illustrations of the day.

Next week the Junior Research Meet-up takes place! Katherine Stroebe is the keynote speaker of the day and will discuss the impact of disasters, specifically the gas extraction in Groningen, on health.

Dr. Mary Guy, guest lecturer from the Lancaster University, UK, will give a lecture about 'The changing roles of competition in Dutch and English healthcare'.
