2021 is Here!!!

With all of the setbacks of 2020, we are starting to see an end to the pandemic. This is a new beginning for  all of us. G Life has been gearing up to return back to work and hit these streets. Several things that we were unable to do last year will be happening this year. We look forward to what the future holds and what God has in store for all of us.

The Turn Up – April 24, 2021
The Turn Up was the first G Life event for 2021. It was a time to celebrate new releases from several members of the Street Certified Crew. During this year the team has been hard at work creating new music and preparing to hit the streets as soon as circumstances allow. New music was performed by Divine Flava, D-Ro, Fame Montana, Mi Gente Crew and Illustrate.
The Turn Up was a time of great music and reuniting the entire team. It was also bitter sweet. Two members of the Street Certified Crew are beginning new journeys in life. Although both will remain a part of G Life Outreach, their respective roles have changes.
James Medina, aka Rollah, has retired from music. He has felt the Lord nudging him for some time regarding stepping away from music and focusing more on pastoring Breathe Church. This event helped celebrate his 20 + years of music ministry. During the past 20 years, Rollah has been a leading member of the group Divine Flava as well as a solo hip hop artist. We pray the best for Rollah as he focuses his time and energy into pastoring his church and preaching the Gospel.
D-Ro has moved to Kansas City to work with YWAM and do missions work. He will remain as a hip hop artist and will continue to make music. YWAM gives him and his wife the opportunity to travel the world and minister the Gospel beyond just making music. D-Ro has helped organize project and DJ events over the years. We are excited to see the new opportunities that open for him as he shares the Gospel in each country that he visits.
Tragedy Has Hit Home

During the last few months, G-Life Outreach has lost one of it’s youth. Although we make every effort to reach the youth in our city, street violence remains a growing problem. Isaac Garcia was one of those youth who fell victim to another senseless shooting. Isaac was loved by his family and friends as well to G Life leaders. We offer our deepest condolences to the Garcia family. Isaac will be dearly missed.

As tragic as Isaac’s death is, it reminds us that our work is not done. He will remain a reminder that our youth need us more than ever. We will continue to share the message of Christ and offer a sense of hope so that this tragedy does not have to happen to another family.
We continue to add music, videos, sermons, talk shows, and other quality material each week. New CHH content is added weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays to all of our playlists. Check out youtube.com/gifeoutreach for more information

4 Life Radio continues to grow each month. New music and shows are being added as we are able. This quarter we added the Colonel's Crunk. CC airs every Saturday evening at 6 PM MST and continues the video version on Fresh-2- Life TV. We also lost a show this qurster. After 4 1/2 years, Illustrate has decided to discontinue the Throw Down. The last episode aired in March.

We continue to play new episodes of Hope Jams, Savage Truth, Hip Hop 4 Yo Soul, The G-Wade Radio Show, Blessed Beatz, and several others throughout the week. Check out http://glifeoutreach.org/4-life-radio.html for days and times of your favorite show.

As always, 4 Life Radio exists to help support the local Christian Hip Hop scene in predominantly in Colorado. If you have high quality mp3’s of your music or know of a dope artist who needs more exposer, reach out to us and submit your music. Email us anytime at 4liferadio@glifeoutreach.org

Soldier of the Quarter - J Biz

This quarter’s spot light falls on our soldier J Biz. He is a long-standing member of the Street Certified Crew and G Life Outreach. He is a front man for the super group, the Mi Gente Crew. Over the years J Biz has appeared on countless other projects as well.

His passion for Jesus and reaching the lost is unsurpassed. Even as manager of Mi Gente Customs, he takes every opportunity to offer a word of encouragement to his customers. He also is part of the pastoral staff at his church. His passion for Christ and for people shines through in all he does.

His rap group, the Mi Gente Crew releases their first album on May 29, 2021. With the help of Arlizzy and Twizz, this album will definitely be worth the long wait. Throughout all their years of ministry, this accomplishment has not
come together until now. We celebrate
withthe Mi Gente Crew and pray for their success. We appreciate J Biz and thank him for all that he has done for the ministry. Salute!!!
