Glen will be sharing his extensive experience of working in Greater China as well as his practical insights on the nuances of conducting business in China.  He also provide an overview of NZTE’s strategy in assisting New Zealand businesses to establish and grow successfully in China, with your questions welcome after.

Programme: The interactive Seminar will start off with a presentation from Glen, after which questions will be encouraged from attendees.  Following this, there will be a networking session with Glen and others from NZTE, accompanied by substantial refreshments.  
Glen Murphy
NZTE is the New Zealand Government’s international business development agency dedicated at increasing New Zealand companies’ international success.

As NZTE’s Regional Director for Greater China, Glen oversees key relationships across the region and is responsible for the operations of NZTE’s offices in mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Glen has lived in China since early 2003, first working in Shanghai as the Managing Director of The Nielsen Company, where he led a 2,000 person market research and analysis team.  He moved to Hong Kong in 2009, where he ran Nielsen’s key client service programme across Asia Pacific, India, The Middle East and Africa.  Glen then established a successful consultancy and training company, and worked with New Zealand based partners to establish an online medical publishing business operating in Hong Kong since late 2011. 

Glen is also an independent director on the board of Mud House Wine Group.
