Volunteering with ACP

Hello Volunteers: Now that the ACP has reopened, with some restrictions, any of you who are interested in volunteering in some capacity would be most welcome. Our volunteer needs are a little different at this time, and responsibilities and tasks may have changed since you were last in the Artisans Centre. Please contact Gillian Holden volunteer@artisanscentre.ca to discuss how you would like to be involved. With any luck, restrictions will continue to lift and we will be able to welcome more volunteers back in various capacities. We are still very interested in adding volunteers to various operational committees that will work with the Board. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Keep well and stay warm!

Did You Know?
The Kawartha Woodturners' Guild (KWG) and the
Artisans Centre Peterborough (ACP)

The Kawartha Woodturners’ Guild has always considered one of its prime mandates to be the teaching and promotion of woodturning to the widest possible audience.  To that end, they became partners in the ACP at its inception, along with the Weavers,  Spinners and the Gourders. The KWG also provided the woodturning equipment at the ACP for woodturning classes and member access.

In February of 2022 the formal relationship between the KWG and the ACP ended.  Now, the KWG will continue to support the ACP in a different way. KWG members will continue to instruct woodturning classes at the ACP and will offer support when requested. There is always the possibility that, down the road, the KWG and the ACP may resume a closer relationship.

The KWG wishes the ACP continued success in the future
