Prayer Update for the Mission Works
of the Presbytery of Southern California

September 2019

Prayer requests from the Missions Works
Here's a follow-up on my single paragraph of last month from Resurrection OPC of Westminster CA:

Elder Truyen Tran writes:
"ROPC recently began a community outreach ministry offering a naturalization test preparation class to immigrants in Orange County who are on the path to becoming US Citizens.  We have a team of 30 volunteers with the support of members of Westminster OPC. We are so grateful for these faithful members of the church.

On the second week of class we had 78 students in attendance and the majority of the students are non-believers. We use this opportunity to befriend people, to share the love of Christ, to introduce them to the church and the church to them and to help them achieve their dream to become naturalized citizens."

Please pray for everyone involved in this exciting outreach, for our ruling elder Truyen Tran, for both Westminster OPC (English speaking) and Resurrection OPC (Vietnamese speaking) - that the Lord would work in the hearts of these students and that God would use this ministry to draw people to Himself.

Yours in our Savior,
Home Missionary Dave Crum
