It was a fun evening for the annual Spring Pot Luck held at Nature at the Confluence (NATC) as can be seen from the group photo below:
Thanks much to Therese Oldenburg, NATC Executive Director, for hosting this event. Just so everyone knows, there are many opportunities to volunteer at NATC, which will periodically be posted in future epistles.
Tuesday Rides Resume March 10
The weather this coming Tuesday looks a bit "raw" for the 1st organized Spinner Ride of the Season but my guess is that there will be some Spinners who will show up @ 5:30pm in the parking lot behind the Beloit Bicycle Company (BBC). As can be seen from the flier below, there is an opportunity to support a local nonprofit by going to the G 5 Brewery after the ride. Like some cyclists did last year, you can park your car at G 5, bike to the BBC parking lot and then we'll finish the ride @ G 5 with some food and refreshments to support Meals on Wheels. Even if you don't decide to ride on Tuesday you would be most welcome to come to G 5 (about 6:45pm) for a little camaraderie and support a great cause!
