*Counting Down: 4 Days

We will be taking Renewal-Works On-Line Spiritual Life Inventory in only 4 days. Watch your email inbox and take a few minutes to reflect on your spiritual journey as an individual and as a parish. Log in from September 16 to October 7th.

Consistency in showing up is key to any successful relationship - a marriage, patenting, friendships. And with God. We deepen our relationships by spending time together. What is the most consistent part of your spiritual life? What parts are struggling or need more time? What helps you set aside time for God? What interferes? How do you spend your time with God?

The online Spiritual Life Inventory will help us see what is “abundant” in our parish…and where’s our greatest growth potential!

This is more than just a survey. It's a prayerful reflection on our spiritual journeys as individuals and as a parish. Please take a few minutes and participate in this spiritual life inventory

*Children's Sunday School
Becky Capt and Sharron Haag are back and the children are excited!  They are looking forward to seeing your children and teaching them about the love of God on Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. Classes will be held in both the Godly Play room and the children's Sunday school room across from Grace Hall. If you have questions or would like to help please contact either Sharon or Becky.

*Episcopal Relief and Development - Hurricane Relief
While Florence has not yet hit the East coast - we know that this hurricane will cause much damage and destruction. Your gift to ERD will help provide critical supplies in the immediate aftermath of the storm and will also be used to assist with the long-term efforts needed to rebuild and heal. Please consider a gift to ERD to help them assist those affected by this latest storm. Donate Now

Fr. Mike's Class
Contrary to my previous announcement we will meet on Sunday, September 16. I look forward to being with you all. -- Mike  (This class is open to all - join anytime!)

Parish Retreat Cancelled
Unfortunately, the parish retreat scheduled for September 14-16, has been canceled. I am disappointed and sorry about this, but we simply did not have enough support for the retreat to make it viable. Mike+

God calls St. Philip’s to be a public face of Christ and to offer all people concrete ways to participate in the mystery of God. St. Philip’s responds to God’s call by:
+ Reflecting the beauty of holiness in our sacred spaces and worship;
+ Being a catalyst in our region for collaborative ministries that care for people in need;
+ Providing transformative experiences for people in our region through teaching and practices of Christian formation; and
+ Appreciating the uniqueness of each person and nurturing and supporting their relationship with God.

Forward to a Friend.
Invite them to church!
