Love God. Love your neighbor. Love your enemy. Love yourself. If Christianity is about anything it is about relationships and relationships can be difficult.
Do you ever feel like you are stuck in a box when it comes to relationships? Have you ever struggled with a relationship at home or at work? What’s that about? And what can we do to change that?
I hope you will come find out beginning on Sunday, September 15, at 9:15 a.m. in Grace Hall.
That’s what our new book, Leadership and Self-Deception, is about.
“Through a story everyone can relate to about a man facing challenges on the job and in his family, the authors expose the fascinating ways that we blind ourselves to our true motivations and unwittingly sabotage the effectiveness of our own efforts to achieve success and increase happiness.”
Don’t let the title fool you. This is more than a business or management book. It is a book about life and relationships. It’s about people like you and me. Everyone is welcome and all are invited. Don’t worry if you are new to the class. There are no prerequisites. This book stands on its own.
Books are available in the church office for $10.
The book is an easy and fast read so let’s plan on reading pages 3-42. That will give us plenty of material to discuss and be a guide for how much we can do each week.
I am looking forward to our time together. See you on the 15th!
