Parish Dinner Recap
Thank you to all who attended and helped with our recent parish dinner this past Sunday. It was a great evening to share a meal, look at St. Philip's and the lives that are being touched both "inside" and "outside" the walls of St. Philip's, as well as share our hopes and dreams for 2019. If you missed the evening - take a look at the photos.

2019 Stewardship Sunday - November 18th
Thank you also for your commitment to and support of St. Philip's in 2018. We hope we can count on you again in the coming year as we continue to do the work God has given us to do. In that regard we are asking everyone to stretch a little further in their stewardship commitment in 2019. By now you all should have received a stewardship packet. If you have not received a packet, please call Julie in the church office, (830) 278-5223.

Please offer your pledge card at either the 8:00 or 10:30 liturgy this Sunday, November 18th. If you will not be at church on Sunday, please return your pledge card to the church office by 12 noon this Friday, November 16, and we will make sure it is included in the offertory on Sunday.

Thank you from Bishop Reed
Bishop Reed expressed his thanks and gratitude for the generous contributions that were made to his  discretionary fund during his recent visit to St. Philip's. Here is an excerpt from his letter: "I'm continually grateful for - and blessed by - the generosity of St Philip's. Not just the financial gifts to my Discretionary Fund, but in the many ways I encounter the loving Christ among you - in worship, welcome, fellowship and care for one another and the community." - Bishop Reed The full letter can be viewed on the bulletin board outside the church office.

Seminarian Arnoldo Romero
Seminarian Arnoldo Romero has been assigned to worship with us at St. Philip's once a month as part of his seminary training. He will be with us every 3rd Sunday through May. He will not be here this Sunday as previously scheduled but will begin in December.  Please join us on December 16th to welcome Arnoldo.

+ Reflecting the beauty of holiness in our sacred spaces and worship;
+ Being a catalyst in our region for collaborative ministries that care for people in need;
+ Providing transformative experiences for people in our region through teaching and practices of Christian formation; and
+ Appreciating the uniqueness of each person and nurturing and supporting their relationship with God.

Forward to a Friend.
