Let's Stuff the Bus!
Don't forget to bring your school supplies this Sunday to church.  The box will be available isn the narthex to drop off your supplies. Let's all "Stuff the Bus."

Please RSVP: Inquirers' and Confirmation Class

Two Classes Begin Soon for Adults and Youth.
Fr. Mike will be holding classes for those wanting to be baptized, confirmed, or looking to deepen their faith and understanding of the Episcopal Church.

Although these classes are required to receive the sacrament of confirmation, anyone can attend these classes. This is a great opportunity to strengthen your faith and learn more about the Episcopal Church. Those wishing to be baptized, confirmed, or received into the Episcopal Church will do so on Sunday, October 13th, the date of our annual Bishop's visit.

There will be a class for adults and one for youth (8th-12th grades). Both classes will meet on the following Sundays:
August 4, 11, 18 and
September 8, 15, 22.
  • The adult class will meet from 12:00-2:00 p.m and lunch will be provided.
  • The youth class will meet from 5:30-7:30 p.m. and supper will be provided.
On Sunday, July 28, at the 10:30 service, those who want to be baptized, confirmed, received, or reaffirm their baptismal vows will be recognized and blessed for the journey on which they are embarking.

Connection Sunday - Coming Soon!

Save the date and please plan to join us!

Outreach Donations from Dallas and Beyond

Thank you to St. Augustine's Episcopal Church, Dallas, TX and many others!

This is just one of the many e-mails and cards we have received with money or offers to volunteer to support our ministry with the migrants and border patrol. Our work is being seen and affirmed by others outside the parish and local area. We have received cards or e-mails from Alabama, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington. This ministry has reached way  way beyond Uvalde and St. Philip's and we are grateful for the overwhelming support we have received the past couple of months. Read an update on what is happening.

Drivers Needed on Sunday Mornings

We have parishioners who are no longer driving but would like to come to church!
Most of us probably remember the delightful movie "Driving Miss Daisy" with Morgan Freeman and Jessica Tandy. A simple act of driving someone who could no longer drive blossomed and grew into a lifetime friendship. Imagine how it must feel to have depended on yourself to get to the places you want to go for many years - to suddenly realize that driving yourself may not be the best option for you anymore. We have several parishioners who find themselves in this situation and we would like to help.

If you would be willing to help with transportation for someone on Sunday mornings, or for other church functions, who is not able to safely transport themselves, please call Fr. Mike in the church office.
No one should miss church because they don't have a ride.
Let's help get our fellow parishioners to church on Sunday.
