Budded on Earth, To Bloom in Heaven
The Mya Lin Terry Foundation is a 100% Volunteer, Charitable, Non-profit Organization created to honor Mya’s memory and to continue the legacy of this amazing little girl.
Happy Birthday In Heaven Mya
On August 2nd, Mya will turn 15 years old, in Heaven.  Not a day goes by that we do not celebrate her life, and the impact that she has made on so many.  May she dance, celebrate and eat lots of cake, while waiting for our reunion.  We are so very grateful for all the friendships she had made that endure all time.... We are proudly watching birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, driver's licenses, athletic success, academic achievement, new journeys traveled, new love acquired and so much more for all those that she has joined together.  Happy Birthday Beautiful My My.....You Are Missed Beyond Words, and Loved For All Eternity.....Thank You for Choosing Me, Because I Would Choose You Again and Again!
Mya's 4th Annual Warrior Jam
With a change in venue for the first time in 4 years, we had a slight change in vibe, without losing the intent of the event.   The vision of Holden Glazer, and his band mates, was to create an environment where kids help other kids fighting cancer.  Having followed Mya’s battle for over five and a half years, a lifelong connection was made.  Holden created this event to carry-on Mya's legacy and make a difference in his lifetime, so perhaps one day families will never again hear the words “your child has cancer.”  This year, along with The Catching, we enjoyed the talents of The Taylor Tote Band, Keith Egan and Band and Anthems for Autumn.   Our surprise musical act, was our very own Warrior McKenzie Hupke - Wow!   The sun was out, Bar Anticipation was packed, faces were painted, Princesses were dancing, and warriors were smiling....all while raising over $14k for pediatric cancer....Can't wait to see you all next year!!!!
Connect4Cancer

In 2016, Olivia Downs formed the Connect4Cancer Club at Marlboro High School in an effort to provide her generation with a voice in the Cancer community. She lost both her grandmother & grandfather to Cancer and strives to be a strong voice for all the people affected by this disease.

During their first year, teens from 9th-12th grade came together to work towards raising awareness for Pediatric Cancer. They wrote over 515 holiday letters for the “Make-A-Wish” foundation which raised over $1,000.  Early in the year, C4C partnered up with The Mya Lin Terry Foundation to volunteer with various events. They collected toiletry items for "Mommy Bags" that were delivered to various hospitals, to parents whose children were receiving treatment. C4C also volunteered at “Mya's 4th Annual Warrior Jam” in Lake Como, NJ to help raise money for Pediatric Cancer. The members brought smiles to children that day by helping with face painting and temporary tattoos.

Connect4Cancer MHS will continue to do even more this upcoming school year, in an effort to raise more money and awareness to this disease.
