Poland seventh EU country to require interlocks for convicted drink drivers

Poland is the latest European country to require convicted drink driving offenders to install an alcohol interlock if they wish to get back behind the wheel. The country joins Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, The Netherlands and Sweden, all of which now have rehabilitation programmes with interlocks backed by the courts.  

Pressure to cut BAC limits in England and Wales as France toughens limit for young drivers

England and Wales are under pressure to match Scotland’s successful move last year from a 0.8g/l general blood alcohol limit for drivers to 0.5. Meanwhile the French government will officially lower the limit for novice drivers from 0.5 to 0.2 from 1 July. Read more...
