NATIVE PLANTS ARE READY FOR FALL PLANTING!!

Our native plants are ready for fall planting!  They are native to our own Shenandoah Valley and surrounding mountains!!  We have a great diversity of perennials, grasses, ferns, vines, trees, and shrubs that are waiting to beautify your landscapes, gardens, and farms.  Planting now through late October is an ideal time as the roots will have the warm soils to acclimate into and grow, giving them a head-start for a beautiful display next year!

HABITAT PACKS OFFERED AT A DISCOUNT!

We’re making garden planning easier for you!  New this fall, we are providing native plant packs for niche environments and specialty gardens: dry/shady gardens, moist/sunny gardens, clay soils, sandy soils, and bird and pollinator gardens to name a few. We are providing these plants in mixed trays of 15 quarts for our perennials, grasses, ferns, and vines, and mixed flats of 6 gallons for our woody plants.  With just a little bit of knowledge of your garden's environment, you can buy a mixed pack of native plants to learn about and grow with.

We've arranged these packs to maximize diversity in your garden so that you can become acquainted with the native plants in our Shenandoah Valley, right in your own garden.  Be sure to read each individual plant's label before planting, to make sure you're giving it the best chance to thrive.

Fall is a great time to plant perennials, trees, and shrubs in the garden - the soil is still warm for roots to establish before winter, and planting now gives you the perfect jumpstart on an any early bloomers next year.  So, treat yourself, our pollinators, and wildlife to some native plants!

Contact Elise at plants@thenaturalgarden.net with any questions or comments on our Habitat Packs, and see our full plant list on our website www.thenaturalgarden.net.
