What's the BC LTBIA Brand?
Does the BC LTBIA have a recognizable Brand? That is one of the questions the Board has been addressing during strategic planning sessions aimed at enhancing the way the the BC LTBIA represents the diverse and talented timber and log builders of BC. The Board completed a marketing assessment to determine how well the current association activities were getting the "BC Builds the Best" message out. Followed by a strategic planning session we are now beginning a series of working sessions led by consultants and cost shared with BC Wood, to further develop the Association's Brand and build our industry marketing capacity. We will be updating our Mission Statement and Tag Line, refreshing our Logo and standardizing our business and marketing materials. Working sessions will also include learning how to develop a web site to reflect the expertise of the industry and meet the information needs of our members; how to develop and launch an association Social Media Strategic Plan and the most exciting initiative - we will learn how to write and produce industry promotional videos. The goal is to produce two videos and will be asking members to contribute photos and film clips of their work for inclusion in the productions promoting our industry.
