I hope you all got the chance to share in the energizing Seattle Art Fair this last weekend. The level of interest and diversity of works were amazing. It was fun to bump into so many fellow artists and patrons at this very special event.
Thank you to Brom and Anne Wikstrom for opening their home for the Life Member Potluck this last month. Life Member, Bill Werrbach expressed the need for exchanges to share the narratives of the PSG to inspire a new generation of PSG artists. Mentorship and scholarship are the heart of the association! www.psgart.org/mentorship/
Thank you to everyone who submitted works for our upcoming exhibitions. The notification announcement for the Rainier Club exhibition will go out on August 21, along with arrangements for hanging and opening night. Students will also be contacted shortly with instructions for hanging and related art events at Essentia. The works submitted are really beautiful, reflecting the range of abilities among our ranks.

Upcoming Meeting & Artist Salon
Our next General Meeting/Artist Salon is scheduled for Wednesday night, September 16 at Blue Grouse Tavern in Georgetown. Panelists Linda Hodges, Karen Whitworth, Joe Mackechnie and Julia Fryett will be presenting innovative marketing and technology strategies for today’s changing marketplace. Join in the conversation from 6 - 8:30PM.
Planning for next year, we are looking at changing the day and time for General Meeting/Artist Salon to Sunday afternoons from 1 - 4:30PM. Your feedback regarding accessibility, driving time of day, more time needed to socialize, etc. prompted a hard look at the schedule. We are still looking for a permanent home and welcome any tangible suggestions.
Meet your neighbor for a paint-out or drawing session, carpool to our next General Meeting, exchange ideas and inspirations! Click here to connect through our Member Map.
