Exhibitions/ Show Opportunities
PSG has submitted a proposal to Washington State Convention Center for a 2017 show; you can read the proposal by clicking here. If WSCC accepts our proposal, all PSG members will have an opportunity to submit images for consideration for inclusion into this juried show. We will notify you as soon as we have something more to report-stay tuned!

King Street Station may become available as an art show venue in 2017 under the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture. PSG has been in touch with them to express our interest in showing at that venue. Stay tuned!

The Rainier Club wants us back! This is an important opportunity for exposure to potential collectors. Stay tuned!

Matzke Fine Art Gallery Show
The Matzke Fine Art Gallery show opened with a packed reception Saturday March 12! A strong show in a beautiful venue, will be up through April 10th, 2016, and worth a drive up to Camano. (Check with Matzke before going to make sure the gallery is open during hours you wish to visit)

We also enjoyed a tour of the studio of PSG Life member John Ebner. Thank you for opening up your beautiful home to PSG visitors!

My experimental painting class at Western Washington University was invited to show at the Emily Carr University of Art & Design in Vancouver, Canada. Thanks to my Professor Cynthia Camlin and her friendship with Landon Mackenzie, a Professor at Emily Carr and notable artist, they created a connection between the two schools. The exhibition focuses on the suitcase that carries our paintings across the Canadian-American border. In the Spring, Western Washington University will be exchanging suitcases again and hosting the students of Emily Carr at there own B Gallery.

Through this exchange of art, labels are removed and the paintings become a painting. Each student submitted five works and I was lucky enough to have three of my works shown. Each painting reflects back to a model we built at the beginning of the quarter. Our goals were to focus on what we really see, whether it’s light or color.

My class has been so fortunate to have this connection with another art school, especially a school like Emily Carr University of Art & Design.
