Canada's first Moxy will be in Banff
BANFF, Alta. — When Canalta purchased the Voyager Hotel in 2016, they always envisioned a boutique retro take on Banff because of the hotel's architecture. They have chosen Marriott's Moxy brand to bring that vision to life.
 
Airbnb, DMFs and new conference format
BANFF, Alta. — Dave Kaiser of the Alberta Hotel and Lodging Association told members at its Centennial Conference that the association's main issues included short-term rentals and DMFs. They are making progress on both fronts but the battles are not over.  He also said that the Centennial celebration was the last of its kind.
