Trademark Collection debuts with dozen hotels
PARSIPPANY, N.J. — Trademark Collection by Wyndham has pushed past the 100-hotel mark with a dozen destinations debuting in Canada. The Canadian roster includes five open hotels and resorts and seven recently signed deals across six provinces.

Pollster Nik Nanos told hoteliers in Vancouver that Canada is not immune to populism and these are the customers showing up at hoteliers’ doors. The way to reach them is through emotional connections.

BERMUDA — After decades of complacency, Bermuda has been rejuvenated in the past few years, as the four and and a half year old Bermuda Tourism Authority emerges with a five year plan that is working.  For ten straight quarters, visitor arrivals and spending has increased.
 
 
Vancouver's bull market and prairie recovery
VANCOUVER — Wall Street has its bull and ⁦Vancouver has its bear (and cub), in front of the JW Marriott Parq Hotel. The Vancouver hotel market is anything but bearish as hoteliers found out at the Western Canadian Lodging Conference held at the hotel Nov. 19 and 20. CLN learned about more than 14 western markets from Carrie Russell of HVS and Scott Duff of CBRE.

Top hoteliers gather for BCHA VIP dinner
