New president on Wyndham Canada recovery
PARSIPPANY, N.J. — Scott LePage, Wyndham's brand new president, Americas, reports on how Canadian hotels are faring during the current pandemic. Wyndham Hotel Group has more than 500 properties in Canada including the Days Inn, Travelodge, Super 8, Microtel and Ramada brands.

CALGARY — Marc Staniloff described the pandemic's effect on Travelodge, Super 8 and Microtel as "a tale of two cities." Some properties are faring well, and some are closed. Notable among the ones faring reasonably well are hotels in Fort Frances, Kenora and Red Lake, Ont.

With, 50,000 acres, the lodge could easily accommodate 50 guests in the 50,000-acre preserve.
 
STR results for Canada week ending May 2, 2020
HENDERSONVILLE, Tennessee—Showing further COVID-19 impact, the Canadian hotel industry recorded steep year-over-year declines in the three key performance metrics during the week of 26 April through 2 May 2020, according to data from STR.
