New Four Seasons Hotel to open in Montréal
MONTREAL — When the new Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences opens this spring in Montreal, it hopes to be "a social landmark of the Golden Square Mile" with something to do for both guests and locals any time of day.
 
Great run for Manga and more to come
TORONTO — Manga Hotels capped off two years of acquisitions and renovations with a Pinnacle Award late last year. And there are more projects coming to fruition this year for this family-run firm, including renovations to the Crowne Plaza YYZ and a new Hyatt Place hotel on that site.
Cutting the ribbon at Myra's restaurant, Ottawa
OTTAWA — She's not even three, but little Myra Gupta has already cut the ribbon for two restaurants bearing her name. The second restaurant opened in Ottawa Feb. 15 at the Holiday Inn Ottawa East, owned by the Crown Group of Hotels. Ottawa dignitaries were also on hand for the event.

Palliser's first new restaurant concept in 60 yrs.
CALGARY — It's been a long time since the venerable Fairmont Palliser launched a new restaurant concept, but the Hawthorn Dining Room and Bar, which opens in April, will be worth the wait. The Palliser's David Woodward describes the decor as "modern vintage," featuring a revival of the hotel lobby bar.
