Hyatt to add 12 new Canadian hotels by 2020
TORONTO — Three years ago Hyatt had just five properties in Canada. Now it has nine. Now the company has announced that it will have 21 hotels in Canada by the end of 2020, all Hyatt House or Hyatt Place brands. One of the new properties, Hyatt House Winnipeg, broke ground last week.
 
CVOA/HAC sign MOU re common interests
OTTAWA, VANCOUVER — The Canadian Vacation Ownership Association (CVOA) and the Hotel Association of Canada  (HAC) announced they have reached a Memorandum of Understanding to begin working together as a unified force on complimentary objectives.
