Boarding House Education Project Report

The project has ended, but our work continues...

The Boarding House Education Project of the Tenants' Union has ended after two years. We are proud of the work we have done to spread the word about the rights of this marginalised group of tenants.
  • 50,000 wallet cards on residents' rights distributed
  • 7,000 brochures on residents' rights distributed
  • 250 frontline workers trained
  • A dedicated information and advice hotline for boarding house residents up and running
We are pleased to forward to you the Boarding Houses Project Evaluation Report.

Onboard won't be going away entirely though as the work of improving the rights of boarding house residents isn't done yet! Over the coming months we'll be in touch as we kick off our preparations for the review of the Boarding Houses Act 2012. As residents, workers and supporters we will need your voices in evaluating the Act, and to present the case for change.
