Community Builder

£28,724 per annum OLW
35 hours per week
Fixed term contract up to 31st March 2024
 

ClearCommunityWeb are recruiting a full time Community Builder to work across North- West Croydon (including Norbury Park, Norbury and Pollards Hill, Ensham Manor and West Thornton). 

Your role is to understand the challenges and support the local community and groups and work with local health colleagues, such as Link Workers. You will identify and bring together individuals and groups together to realise their ideas as well as to activate ideas in the community. You will support the various community hubs and the work priorities of the Local Community Partnership.

We are looking for a Community Builder to identify, unite and help to develop individuals and groups in North West Croydon to reach their potential, develop their ideas and enhance our local community. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to connect people to bring about positive change, and a passion to help people overcome inequality and exclusion.
