RESET - THE COUNCIL/VCS RELATIONSHIP

Croydon Voluntary Sector Alliance (CVSA)

CVA is working with the Council on rebuilding its relationship with Croydon’s voluntary and community sector (VCS). Our aim is to restore the quality of partnership working in Croydon, in a way that delivers real benefits for VCS organisations. Most importantly, the Reset is about generating investment in the person-centred, community-building work that Croydon’s VCS specialises in.

Our keynote speaker at next week’s CVSA meeting is the Cabinet Member for Communities, Councillor Andy Stranack.

We’ll discuss with him how we use the levers for investment in Croydon’s VCS, like the Council and NHS Procurement Plans – without forgetting the Social Value aspect of commercial contracts awarded by the Council.
