Resetting the relationship between Croydon’s

Voluntary & Community Sector (VCS) and the Council

  • Council to provide the breakdown as requested of its £20+ million spend on VCS groups by 9.12.22
  • This breakdown to inform the Council’s efforts to ensure more of the Council’s overall spend on the VCS moves from national charities to local charities
  • An emergency seminar/workshop is held asap on the Commissioning of Croydon’s local VCS – with the Council, Croydon NHS and CVA taking responsibility for event-planning
  • The Council to confirm the process for VCS bidding into the UK Shared Prosperity Fund
  • The Council to share the CYTO case study to inform VCS applications for Community Asset Transfers
  • The Council to confirm the funds now available from the Community Infrastructure Levy and their proposed use
  • The Council to share the Community Fund Equalities Impact Assessment with all fund-recipients
