CCPAT summer activities update

  • 10 local community organisations were supported by CVA to run Summer Activities for young people aged between 10 and 18 as part of the Croydon Community Partnership Against Trauma (CCPAT) project.
  • £50,000 of funding provided 630 hours of amazing, free activities such as cooking, boxing, overnight trips, dance and creative filmmaking.
  • 235 young people took part in one or more sessions.
This was an opportunity to provide positive, structured activities for young people over the summer holidays and a chance for organisations to strengthen their delivery and build their contacts. As always, CVA will continue to try and attract the funding needed to make this sort of activity happen in our community.

A big thank you to all those involved who, despite the short turnaround and challenges with drawing down the funding, really made this work. Another great example of the community and voluntary sector in Croydon working together for our young people and their families.
