GOGOP September Meeting

Tuesday,  September 11, 7 pm, King's Court Castle at Canterbury Village

So many proposals that will effect each and every one of us in our everyday life. You may know what they say, but do you understand their implications? Some are not as pretty as they sound? Come find out what they are all about.

We will have Tony Daunt from the Michigan Freedom Fund to discuss Prop2. This is the prop that will change the way we redistrict the state. It will effect everyone for a very long time.

We will hear from Mathew Yascolt, Grassroots Director of Healthy and Productive Michigan on what the marijuana bill actually says, what it means, and what the dangers are. Do you believe recreational marijuana is right for Michigan?

Marion Ginopolis, Lake Orion Schools Superintendent, wants us to pass a $160Million bond to make Orion Schools better and safer. What's included, what's not, and what will your dollars be paying for? Come find out.

If time allows, we may have an update from Jim Tedder on the minimum wage/family leave/sick day bills that just passed both the MI Senate and the House as well.

All these propositions will affect your lives, your paychecks, your tax bills, and your futures. Its important to learn everything we can.
