The latest happenings at the PEI MFRC . . .

Summer's just around the corner!

Summer is especially busy for military families. Here on PEI, many of our military members will be taking summer postings in various  bases across the country. We want you, our military families, to know we're here for you during this hectic time.

We're gearing up for a busy June, too.
Check out everything that is happening below...

Virtual Programming: Endless Possibilities

A note from our Virtual Program Coordinator, Margaret MacKenzie:

The PEI MFRC offers programs and services for everyone—live coffee mornings, deployment information sessions, volunteer opportunities, the Tip to Tip tour, and more…. and now we can include virtual programs in our list of programs & services offered to you!

Virtual programs bring quality services and programs to all CAF families, regardless of our posted location.
Did you know that we are discussing, in partnership with PSP, to bring you a virtual running club in the near future? This will be for new runners across the country who wish to move from the couch to a 5 km in a safe, motivational, and planned environment.

Virtual Running Club . . . really!?! Yup! Anything is possible in a virtual classroom.

Contact Margaret with any questions or ideas on virtual programming:

Free Demonstrations of Virtual Platform

Do you want to learn more about virtual programs at PEI MFRC?  Come to any one of our 50-minute virtual demonstrations, where you will see first-hand just how fun and interactive a virtual classroom can be.

Please email Margaret a request at, and she will set up a personal demonstration for you (and your friends, too, if you are interested!) at your convenience.

Also, we invite you to share your ideas, thoughts, and comments for programs that you might like to see in a virtual classroom. PEI MFRC is your centre—we want to design programs that are important to you. Your Voice Matters.

Welcome Sue Pollard

While attending UPEI, she gained experience working with military families completing two field placements with us over the past academic year.
