Happy New Year!

The first council meeting of the new year was last week and I’m looking forward to working with my council colleagues, city staff and neighbors on some big items in 2019.

One item coming up is the Girard Avenue reconstruction project. In 2020, the Minneapolis Public Works Department plans to reconstruct Girard Ave S between Lake St and Lagoon Ave.
Public works staff has organized an open house to share design options and gather feedback on January 24th. I hope to see you there!
