Principal's Message

LBJ ECHS Jaguar Community:

We had a very powerful & impactful week among our students & staff as we continue to focus on college & career prep! Our students received a great deal of exposure & historical awareness as we promote positive global citizens & represent LBJ ECHS & AISD PRIDE! Please view the evidence in the pictures included.

***We appreciate the many staff members responsible for these opportunities!

Our Teachers are working vigorously on designing effective interventions for our students as they prepare to PASS their EOC STAAR Exams, AP/TSI Exams, and ensure our students are meeting their Graduation Requirements!

Students are receiving specific interventions based on their need of instruction weekly in all academic content classes, and parent letters were sent home this past week with additional details for Alg. I, U.S, History, English I & II, and Biology EOC-STAAR interventions. Tutorials are also being provided for students who need additional support to ensure academic success and growth on the upcoming progress monitoring assessments (CFA’s). These assessments will help teachers determine specific skills for each individual student that need to be re-taught, and which skills students successfully understand as we prepare our students success!

Our Primary Goal is to ensure that all students are earning their required credits, passing their required EOC’s, and preparing for Graduation-Post Secondary Readiness!!!

***We truly appreciate the support from all of our parents and the LBJ ECHS Community Members! #Teamwork
