Film & Discussion Event starting Sat 26th Sept.
Join us for our new style Film & Discussion Events.
We pick a film. Share the link. You watch at your leisure over the course of a week or so. We all chat about the film on our forum. And then we can have a zoom chat depending on how the conversation goes.
Our first "film" is actually a lecture from Dartmouth College from 1977. Funny that we're still looking at the same problems today!
To watch the film and join the conversation, please email film@planetsutherland.com
Grow Sutherland Talk & Discussion - Tues 29th Sept, 4:45pm
Let's find out how to start more community food growing in Sutherland. Join us to hear the experiences of Emma Whitham who founded MOO Food - Muir of Ord Food is a highly successful community food venture in Muir of Ord. Emma will share the story of how it started, the difficulties and successes and answer our questions on starting community food growing ventures.
Emma has also recently formed The Highland Good Food Conversation, a brilliant initiative to build our knowledge of food growing, food businesses, and build food resilience in the Highlands.
Please get your free tickets for this on line event here - https://www.planetsutherland.com/2020/09/grow-sutherland-talk-moo-food-highland.html. Look out on the web site too for more info on our next Grow Sutherland Events - every second Tuesday.
