Most of us woke up to a new normal this weekend as the COVID19 menace shut down North America.
Our hearts go out to so many people affected by the virus—from our manufacturing partners in Asia to our barbecue friends on lockdown in Italy and France. Closer to home, restaurant closures in New York, Los Angeles, and elsewhere have hurt so many chefs, pit masters, and food service people.
As I always say, in barbecue there’s no such things as strangers—just friends who haven’t met. Our friends are hurting, and we hurt with them.
So for the next two weeks, we will donate all profits from the barbecuebible.com store to Jose Andres’s World Central Kitchen.
