Blue Future is an exciting new national organization, working to connect young people directly to progressive candidates and campaigns, and giving them the tools, resources, and training to be effective volunteers, organizers, and public servants..  They want to build a future where the country benefits from the brilliance of the diverse young leaders of today

The Heroes Act, passed by House Democrats, would be the fourth coronavirus relief package
  • Six-month extension of Pandemic Unemployment Assistance - the most progressive and important economic relief bill passed in generations
  • Funding for Vote-By-Mail and safe in-person voting in November
  • Funding for the United States Postal Service
  • Additional monthly universal payments to all Americans
  • A moratorium on evictions and foreclosures
  • Expanded paid/sick/family leave for all workers
  • Free COVID testing and treatment for all
While no law is perfect, this bill has vitally needed benefits.  And the Senate can act to improve the bill- if Mitch Mcconnell allows it come up for a vote.

Holding Our Elected Officials Accountable

We now are holding virtual meetings with the staffs of our elected representatives, at both the National and State level, to advocate for on current legislation, and provide feedback to them on their actions & votes.

The meetings are great way to engage in the democratic process!  The staff listens carefully - and we often see positive outcomes from these interactions. If you'd like to participate, look for upcoming meetings on the calendar link below.
