and our other events in celebration of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month

Support VAYLA's efforts during this pandemic on #GivingTuesdayNow!

We created an Emergency Relief Fund for folks who don't qualify for aid as they are awaiting citizenship status, undocumented, or in programmatic limbo. Funds will be distributed to community members who do not have access to the resources needed during this global health crisis.

Happening this Friday 5/8!

Celebrate APIA Heritage Month with our new live web series! Registering for this free event grants you access to the Zoom link and password. We encourage participants to register and engage with us.

Our Executive Director will be talking with fellow AAPI community leader Victoria Huynh, Vice President of Center for Pan Asian Community Services (CPACS), to discuss civic engagement as a social determinant of health and health equity, and how to build solidarity that fortifies our communities.

Their discussion will be framed around the challenges, joys, & opportunities of
#Census2020 and its impact on intersectional organizing and allyship for Asian Americans in the South during COVID-19.

Deadline to register is Thursday, May 7 at 11:59pm.
