 Adopt A Senior Pet Month
It's a Success
Thanks to You!

At least 24 senior pet adoptions will be sponsored as a result of the November Adopt-A-Senior Pet Month campaign of

Pictured below, hanging with his new family, is Rico (far left) who joined the family after the Sips For Seniors Event!

The campaign was initiated by A Tucson Tail with a donation to sponsor 5 senior adoptions (at $100 per pet) along with a challenge to the community to join in. And so many of you did, including a generous donation from Baja Cafe.

Also stepping up to the plate was Sentinel Peak Brewing Company donating $1 for every beer sold during our "Sips for Seniors" event which featured adoptable seniors, a mega raffle prize and successfully raised a total of  $1,200.
Meet a few more of the sponsored seniors adopted this month:

All donations directed towards during the month of November will be included in the senior fund  providing $100 to the veterinarian who cares for the adopted pet from PACC (dogs age 7+ and cats age 9+).

NKPC supports and implements policies and practices that keep pets out of shelters, improves quality of care for those in shelters and gets them out of shelters as soon as possible. Learn more about 2 of our initiatives by clicking on the images below:
