Members Eligible for DROP Report Now Available Online

Allow us to introduce another exciting online enhancement: the Members Eligible for DROP report!  We will no longer submit annual DROP Eligible notifications as you are now empowered to retrieve the information via your LSERSWeb Employer access.  This access allows you to identify employees who are approaching eligibility as well as those who have participation time remaining.  Simply login, hover over the REPORTS tab, and select MEMBERS ELIGIBLE FOR DROP.   The report may be extracted at any time; however, for this specific purpose we suggest at least once a year, soon after the end of each fiscal year to capture the newest records as the data reflected is as of fiscal year end.  That said, there is no time like the present to try out this new feature!  You can export the results in Excel, PDF, or Word.

See the Members Eligible for DROP procedures for detailed instruction on extracting data.  Members approaching eligibility will still receive their notifications by mail from LSERS.

One last request!  Please provide us feedback on the effectiveness of this new feature or suggestions that would make your job easier as we work together for a better future.  Any questions or need help, call 225.925.6484 or send email to webmaster@lsers.net.

Save time and costs daily!

Form 4A - Contributions Report Transmittal is obsolete.  Form 2F - Forfeiture of Benefits should be kept in your files.  By statute the employer is required to keep this form on file.  Please refrain from submission of these forms to LSERS.

The latest versions of all forms are available on our website.  If you still print and manually fill out forms, consider saving time and completing forms online!  There are even some forms that can be submitted online thereby saving printing and postage costs.

Encourage your employees to use the online forms and upload documents through LSERSWeb.  All enrollments, contribution payment transmittals, retiree return-to-work earnings, contribution corrections, terminations, personal information updates, salary contributions, and insurance deductions should be processed online.

Exceptions Count for FY 2016-17

LSERS processed July and August batch zero postings for all 9-month employees leaving 269 exceptions for all employers. Let’s start this new year off by clearing exceptions monthly.  We are here to help.  If you have any questions, email webmaster@lsers.net or call Kimberlyn Stewart at 225.925.4411.

Revised Publication
A revised Your Membership publication is available on LSERS website.  The publication was updated to ensure all information was accurate based on changes from the 2016 Regular Legislative Session.

And, as always, we appreciate and welcome any and all comments, as this helps
us identify ways to make improvements for you and provide better service to our
members and employers. Feel free to provide feedback and suggestions using
the LSERS Satisfaction Survey on our "Contact Us" page on the LSERS website.
