More time, more attention, best outcome.

Hello Neighbor, 

 

How are we doing? Brrrr, I hope you’re staying warm. It looks like it could get colder, making snow possible. Rod Hill from KGW channel 2 is becoming more confident temperatures will drop through Feb (we know each other haha), allowing the potential for snow. After the other year, I don’t want to get stuck and not be able to drive… but a light weekend snow would be kind of exciting. 

 

We’ll, what do you have coming up? Project wise, or fun? I’m starting to get requests again from people looking for workers. It lulled there for a few weeks. Any fun vacations or weekend getaways planned? I just booked a trip to Merida Mexico. Kind of an odd work thing actually. It has been too long! Have anything fun planned?

Portland-Metro Market Report - 2020 review 
December Residential Highlights
New listings (1,740) increased 37.0% from the 1,270 listed in December 2019, and decreased 22.3% from the 2,238 listed in November 2020.

Pending sales (2,003) increased 13.0% from the 1,772 offers accepted in December 2019, and decreased 21.7% from the 2,557 offers accepted in November 2020.

Closed sales (2,789) increased 26.0% from the 2,213 closings in December 2019, and increased 1.6% from the 2,745 closings in November 2020

Inventory and Total Market Time
Inventory decreased to 0.8 months in December, the lowest on RMLS™ record. Total market time decreased to 40 days.

Year-to-Date Summary
Comparing the twelve months of 2020 to the same period in 2019, new listings (38,442) decreased 5.3%, pending sales (32,849) increased 7.9%, and closed sales (32,031) increased 7.8%.
Here is a large list of possible things to do/places to explore this year! It's a lot of outdoor stuff, I know it's a little cold out there. The dog walks haven't been quite as long. They're spoiled! If you have a thick coat, check these local places out to visit. Spring's not too far away... There's indoor stuff too.

I forgot to say, I went to visit the Vancouver WA waterfront a few weeks back. I had never been. Crazy. It was so nice. I like Washington. I need to explore the Puget Sound more. If you've explored everything in OR, for local getaways, maybe you start heading up North. Here are some fun things to do.
