The theme of the conference is: Strengthening healthcare systems to promote safety and health of women and families.

The health care system and those who work in it have a vital role to play in preventing violence and abuse and reducing its impacts This conference will bring together global researchers, educators, health and social service providers and advocates to exchange knowledge and ideas and generate best practices to prevent and/or reduce the impacts of violence against women, children and families.
