A word from Clemson Abroad...
We are very excited to round out a record-breaking year for Clemson Abroad! We are seeing students traveling abroad at all times of year, and exploring all types of academic initiatives, including doing research with a professor in Dominica, exploring Humans impact on the Environment on the Australia Great Barrier Reef, or interning around the globe. With all of our programs, regardless of type or location, the health, safety, and well-being of your students is our top priority. We have worked extensively to ensure that we’re sending students on programs that we know will support them personally, professionally, and academically.
If your student is interested in incorporating global engagement into their academic study at Clemson, please encourage them to set up an individual appointment with our office. We collaborate with your student during these meetings to identify their academic needs, personal desires, and budget. Our philosophy when working with students is that we want to provide them with the resources that they need to make the right decision for their personal and professional goals. Whatever their goals, we have a program to fit their needs!  We look forward to sending your student abroad soon!  Thanks!

AlertTraveler App

Clemson Abroad has purchased and installed AlertTraveler, an application which is focused on health and safety while your student is abroad. AlertTraveler is a one-stop shop for real-time information, alerts, and functionality. The app can be set up to ensure that your student receives the information they care about, when they need it. Students are able to customize their preferences around notifications for severity or incident types, including push notifications, or simply get an assessment prior to their planned weekend excursion.
