Mercedes-Benz Automotive Technician Program

Hundreds of students at the University of West Alabama are benefiting from the Mercedes-Benz Automotive Technician Program utilizing Festo Modular Production Systems. "I feel way more advanced than I thought I would be at this level in college," said one of the students participating in the program.

New Jersey Makers Day 

On Saturday, March 21, 2015, makers from across New Jersey participated in the inaugural NJ Makers Day to celebrate and share maker culture.

Festo Didactic supported the event by displaying a working MPS station at the statewide headquarters of the event – the prestigious NJ Institute of Technology!

Environmental Discovery System (EDS) Water Management 
Discovering the water circuit
March 22 was the World Water Day. Festo Didactic has developed a Water Technology training program to address this issue: the EDS® Water Management.

Complex systems require responsible operation, as the applications have far-reaching effects on humans, the treatment plant, and the environment.

The different EDS® Water Management stations prepare users optimally for these varied tasks and systems with state-of-the-art technology. 

Basic water circuit system
With the basic water circuit system, comprising the four main stations, you are ideally equipped to get to know the world of process command, measurement and control technology.

Students can work in the following learning areas:
● Plant engineering, process and laboratory technology
● Electrical engineering
● Automation/process control engineering and administration
