Take advantage of demand in the housing market

Housing stock remains the focus of attention with further evidence that rising prices are due in large part to the falling number of properties entering the market across the country.  A new report for Home.co.uk claims prices in the East of England have risen as sharply as London in the past six months.

There are now reports from a number of agents and industry pundits that the London market is beginning to cool off.  It is likely that this will feed down to the local market in Suffolk next year, but for now we are still seeing rising prices and strong demand.

Therefore Flick & Son advises anyone considering selling or letting to contact us now for a free valuation rather than wait until the New Year.  This is currently a market in which the very optimum price can be achieved for your property, whether it is coming to the market for sale or to let.

We have consistently remained market leaders across Suffolk’s Heritage Coast in 2015 with more sales than our nearest competitors but importantly we also have a larger and wider stock available than any other agent in the area stimulating daily contact with numerous fresh buyers who we are able to add to our database to sell or let properties to.

Our experienced and qualified teams in our five local branches can give you the best insight into the latest market conditions near you, so get in touch or call in today to take advantage of our high quality customer service.

On that subject, while you browse the latest properties to buy or rent from
Flick & Son in this newsletter, we would love you to spare a moment and participate in our survey that can help us serve you even better in 2016.  One lucky person will win a case of Adnams Champagne for taking part.  See below for further details.

Living in Walberswick

The attractive and secluded village of Walberswick stands on the south bank of the River Blyth, just across the water from Southwold. A ferry operates from Southwold in the summer, cutting short a seven mile journey by road.

Formerly a prosperous fishing village, nearly half of the houses in Walberswick today are holiday homes. The village has a thriving artistic community with regular exhibitions.

Walberswick is also well known for its crabbing competitions, making the village a popular destination in the summer months.

To find out more about the town and the great property available in and around Walberswick, drop into our Southwold branch in Queen Street and have a chat with Richard or Parminder.
