Strong growth on the Heritage Coast

Welcome to the latest Flick & Son newsletter.

As we enter the last quarter of 2015, it is worth reflecting on the theme of the year so far – more data indicating that the East of England is now showing greater price growth than anywhere else.
The monthly Asking Price Index is suggesting an increase of more than 2% in the past month across the East with asking prices up 7.9% on last year.  By tracking Land Registry data sold prices we can home in more accurately on the picture in our part of Suffolk.
Across the Flick & Son area, covering the Suffolk Heritage Coast and surrounding towns and villages, we have seen average sold prices growing at an average of more than 10% compared to the same month in 2014.  The greatest areas of growth have been around the Halesworth and Saxmundham areas with Southwold also showing higher than average increases.
High demand remains the main driver in the market and we are pleased to have been able to attract significantly more new instructions than any other agent in the area over the past three months.
This is a great time to sell your property and our unrivalled database of potential buyers in this area means we may already have someone who is interested in viewing your home.
Flick & Son’s knowledge of the local conditions and high quality customer service helps us to remain market leaders and we would love to talk with you about how we can market your property for its optimum price.  Please give us a call or drop in to one of our five Flick & Son branches in the area.

Living in Halesworth

Halesworth is an attractive market town in North East Suffolk, home to one of Flick & Son’s five branches. The town hosted a Roman settlement and archaeological research shows it has been a thriving community for hundreds of years.
The main Thoroughfare is pedestrianised, allowing visitors to peruse a wide variety of independent shops. A weekly market takes place on Wednesdays.

Halesworth is easily accessible by rail on the Ipswich to Lowestoft line with connections to Norwich, London and beyond. The town is situated on a tributary of the River Blyth.

To find out more about the town and the great property available in the Halesworth area, drop into our branch in the Thoroughfare and have a chat with Mark or Libby.
