Returns This Sunday!

Come sing along with some uplifting, toe-tapping, old-school hymns and gospel favourites as we return to our regular monthly Music Services, with Mark Cassius as our special musical guest.

A singer/dancer/actor/musician, he is probably best known as a member of the world-renowned a cappella group, The Nylons.

A musical theatre veteran, he appeared on Broadway in Jesus Christ Superstar, Ragtime and Shenandoah. He performed in the Toronto productions of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (with Donny Osmond), Miss Saigon and Showboat.

Bring your friends and family because it's certain to be an exciting service.

Worship Services will be streamed live at 10:30am every Sunday morning.

Please use the link below to access.

A notice will also be sent Sunday Mornings with a read along bulletin.

A recorded version of the service will be posted to the BBUC website on the Tuesday following the service.

Contact: if you need to sign up to receive the notice.

If the livestream isn't playing properly, please refresh the page.

What’s the Buzz … tell me what is happening …

All who seek to follow Jesus are engaged in “experimental” faith, watching for what God will do next and responding based on our best understandings from scripture and personal experience.

We sing songs like: Come, O Holy Spirit, set your church on fire…  I’m gonna live so God can use me… be thou my vision…

But are we ready to stand and live the words: Here I Am, Use Me!

Lectionary for This Week
Friends of Viv Lilley
A gathering in memory of Viv Lilley is on Saturday June 4. At 12:30 pm there will be a short memorial at Pine Hills Cemetery.  At that time Viv’s ashes will be placed in her husband’s grave, and a few words will be said by her friend, Jan Warren.

After that, starting around 1:30 pm there will be an afternoon of refreshments at the Tara Inn, 2365 Kingston Road.   At that time, anyone who would like to share their memories of Viv will be welcome to speak.

Please feel free to come to either the cemetery, or the Tara Inn or both.

The family would like to keep this as informal as possible, so please drop in at whatever time might suit.  The family and others will be there until 4:30 pm or later.

The Tara Inn is an Irish Pub, so please bring a hearty appetite – and thirst.  Viv would want to see everyone well fed.  We will also ensure there are some vegetarian options, whether Viv would have approved of them or not.

Hope to see you soon.  And please let us know if you need more information.

All the best,
Keith, Cliff, Karen and the Lilley Family.
