SPIRITUAL CARE SUPPORT
If you, or someone you know, would like spiritual care support,  please contact Rev. Greg by email at revgregbbuc@rogers.com or by phone at 416-694-4081, Ext 2.
PRAYER REQUESTS
There are many things in our lives that call us to prayer.  At Birchcliff Bluffs United Church we believe that prayers shared can impact people and create change.

Starting March 8, 2020, you will see something new near the front of the church:  we have introduced a prayer table.  It is a place where you can say a prayer, leave a prayer, light a candle.  You are invited to share in the written requests of others who have left a prayer as well.

If you want your prayer brought to the attention of the whole congregation, please speak with Rev. Greg Daly and he can ensure this happens.
2020 ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING - UPDATE
BBUC's Annual Congregational Meeting will be held this Sunday, following the Worship Service.  Please pick up a snack quickly and return to the sanctuary so that the meeting can get underway promptly after the service ends.  In preparation for the meeting, please read the Annual Report, Our Living Faith Story, and Minister’s Position Description.  Copies of the financial reports will also be available.  If you have not received a copy of these documents, contact the church office - 416-694-4081 or bbucoffice@bellnet.ca.

NEW - There will be an enhanced coffee hour.  If you are providing food, please have it plated and ready to serve.  It can be stored in the basement kitchen fridge on Sunday morning.  Thank you for your contribution and assistance.
BFB - BLUFFS FOOD BANK
Special thanks to all who made such generous donations of sugar in January and February.  By last week you donated enough sugar that we were able to add sugar to each and every hamper.  That means that we received over 325 bags of sugar.  WOW!

For March we are requesting donations of canned vegetables, specifically corn, carrots, potatoes, yellow beans, green beans, and peas.

Due to the recent blockade of railway trains, the usual supply of commercial donations of fresh vegetables is limited.  We hope you will help us address this shortage with donations of the canned vegetables that are listed above.

Currently, we have a plentiful supply of tomatoes, protein, beans, and beans in sauce.

Your generosity is sincerely appreciated.

The large knitted panels, designed in the style of stained-glass windows, look at the commonalities and conflicts of the Abrahamic Faiths – and took Kirk an incredible 15 years to knit.  The play tells the story of Kirk’s artistic and spiritual journey working on this ambitious project about interfaith empathy, and has been seen across Ontario at theatres, churches, and the Aga Khan Museum.
